This allows the pedal to be used "in front of" a fuzz face type effect. Because of the fuzz face's low impedance input, a wah will not normally work in front of it. There will be no range, or "no wah" - or....it may just sit there and squeal. This circuit fixes that - and there is NO signal loss. It does not color the tone of the wah in any way. The board has a level control so that you can set the output to better match your particular fuzz pedal. The circuit board is also completely bypass-able (via a mini slide switch on the board), for those who actually like to use the squeal.

This kit requires good soldering skills and the ability to follow directions, and/or diagrams. If soldering isn't your thing, send us your pedal and we'll do the installation. (installation fee is $10 plus return shipping)

Kit includes instructions with full color photos and wiring diagram. It can be installed in just about any of the inductor-based wahs such as Dunlop Crybaby, Vox V846, V847, V848, Thomas Organ Crybaby, Vox Clyde McCoy, Jen, Colorsound, and many of the modern boutique wahs.

Note: Installation in the Fulltone Clyde Deluxe model will require extra modification to increase the supply voltage. A better solution for the Fulltone is to use our dedicated buffer pedal, The Box instead. The Box is also an excellent solution for those who want to use a valuable vintage wah in front of a fuzz, but don't want to devalue it by doing a modification.
